2011 Internet Summit & D.C. Entrepreneurship Week

January 13, 2012 Courtney Brady

A quick throwback to 2011.  We didn’t have a chance to share this sooner, but last year presented many opportunities for Distil to participate in well-known industry and regional events. Specifically, Distil was nominated to demo at the Internet Summit’s Demo Showcase and share insights into the growing impact of content scraping and theft.

The Demo Showcase Companies are promising young Internet oriented firms that will be showing off their stuff at this year’s Summit. You can visit the list of the 2011 demo showcase companies in the Demo Showcase area located just off the Main Lobby near registration, adjacent to the startup lounge.

Additionally, Distil had the opportunity to engage with fellow entrepreneurs and technology start-ups in Northern Virginia at the annual DC Entrepreneurship Week. We encourage anyone in the region to participate in future DCEW events.

2011 was fun and we look forward to keeping you up-to-date on all the exciting development and growth in 2012.  Please contact us  if you’re interested in learning more about the upcoming plans for Distil and our Content Protection Network.

Cheers - Team Distil
