ARLINGTON, Va.--()--Distil Networks, the world-wide leader in bot protection, today announced the release of a new product allowing enterprise companies to harness the power of the Distil Networks platform within their own datacenters. The Private Cloud deployment provides customers the same level of malicious threat prevention, web scraping protection, bot identification, and fraud protection that Distil Networks is known for, all in an on-premise solution. The Private Cloud is available immediately to enterprise customers worldwide.

“There was a lot of demand from enterprises to deploy our software on-premise to stop malicious attacks.”

"We are thrilled to see Distil offer the Private Cloud to companies," said ff Venture Capital Founding Partner John Frankel."We invested in Distil with the conviction that they are solving a huge problem faced by thousands of websites, and we are pleased to watch the team introduce new, innovative solutions to continue to fulfill that mission."

Based on industry research, it is estimated that an average of 30% of all website traffic is comprised of malicious bots with that number increasing year over year. Distil Networks to date has identified and blocked over 1.5 billion malicious bots responsible for content theft, advertising fraud, web scraping, and form spam. As companies of all sizes look to decrease the wasted resources and data theft caused by these bots, businesses that demand an on-premise solution can now benefit from a Distil Networks bot blocking technology that has been shown to be 99.9% effective at eradicating malicious automated traffic.

“There was a lot of demand from enterprises to deploy our software on-premise to stop malicious attacks,” said Distil CEO and Co-founder Rami Essaid. “It’s a great leap forward for us to address their needs without having to change a customer’s architecture. Everyone should be able to be bot free, and we wanted to provide a delivery option for all.”

Sitting in-line with an enterprise’s current infrastructure, Distil Networks deploys a private, managed node in the customer’s facility that monitors web traffic ensuring that only legitimate human traffic and approved search engine crawlers are able to access the content from the backend webservers. The Private Cloud leverages the benefits of the Distil Networks intelligence database on all threats detected globally. The deployment can run on either Distil Networks provided hardware or hardware already provisioned within the datacenter. The Private Cloud operates as your own node in sync with the Distil public infrastructure but handling only your resources.
