Former Executives from Shape Security, OneLogin and Xoom Join Leading Bot Detection and Mitigation Company as Growth Soars

San Francisco, CA – December 10, 2015 – Distil Networks, the global leader in bot detection and mitigation, today announced it has made three new executive hires. Matt Hibbard has joined as Chief Financial Officer, Kent Rounds has joined as Executive Vice President of Sales and Jason Hollander has joined as Vice President of Customer Success.

Matt Hibbard joins Distil Networks as Chief Financial Officer. He started his career at Ernst & Young. Hibbard will oversee corporate finance, accounting and human resources.

Kent Rounds joins Distil Networks as EVP of Worldwide Sales. Rounds has more than 25 years of sales and leadership experience in the cyber security market. In his most recent role as VP of Sales at Shape Security, he was responsible for driving sales and growth of the sales team.  Prior to Shape Security, Rounds spent over 15 years as an executive sales leader at McAfee (now Intel Security). Rounds will be focused on the development and execution of sales strategies, enterprise account management, continued growth of the sales organization, and investments in strategic alliances.

Jason Hollander joins Distil Networks as VP of Customer Success bringing with him over 20 years of experience, including executive level positions at OneLogin and RSA, as well as consulting for a wide variety of Fortune 500 companies. Hollander’s responsibilities include optimizing and scaling the solutions engineering, implementation, and customer success teams. His primary goal is to make sure each customer is gleaning maximum value from their investment in Distil.

Bots make up nearly 60 percent of all web traffic and are an increasingly popular platform used by hackers and fraudsters to carry out web scraping, brute force attacks, competitive data mining, online fraud, account hijacking, unauthorized vulnerability scans, spam, man-in-the-middle attacks, digital ad fraud, and downtime. Distil offers the first easy and accurate way to defend websites against these malicious bots -- without impacting legitimate users. By monitoring each page request and building a fingerprint of each incoming connection, Distil allows customers to accurately detect bots in real time and then provides options to mitigate the attack.
